A: Mission of Mercy Canada is a Christian relief and development agency helping to meet the physical and spiritual needs of hurting people in poverty- stricken areas of North and East India. Through emergency and support roles, people receive food, education, housing, medical aid, and clean water for life.

A: Mission of Mercy Canada is currently working in several States of north and east India and has an office in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

A: In 1954, the late Rev. Mark Buntain founded Mission of Mercy in Calcutta, India and along with his wife Huldah built one of the largest and most successful inner-city outreaches in the world.

A: Individuals, businesses, churches and other organizations who believe in social justice issues and the provision of basic human rights to all peoples irrespective of caste, creed, religion or gender.  Mission of Mercy Canada is accountable to friends of the ministry and the Canadian Council of Christian Charities (CCCC).

A: Mission of Mercy Canada has a variety of ways for involvement:

  • Become a caring friend and loving child sponsor
  • Help students, children who study at one of our Mercy Centres (schools), by helping build a new Centre
  • Support Health and Wellness care for our school children
  • Help us build Mercy Centres, Vocational Schools, and children’s homes
  • Help us finance self-sustainability projects: Farming, micro businesses, and English medium schools.
  • Respond when there is a crisis and hurting people need our help
