Our children and their families in North and East India are faced with a no-win situation … die now by drinking e-coli infected surface water, or die later with arsenic and fluoride polluted ground water.
Provide a village with clean water!
In many small villages of North East India, they have very limited access to clean water. Part of their daily routine includes a long walk to a water source. In 2016 Mission of Mercy Canada provided the village of Joljam, Manipur with a ring well. For the 500 people living in this village, the ring well became their new gathering place. The locals were so grateful for the gift of clean water. With the help of our faithful donors, Mission of Mercy Canada provided 91 villages in North East India with a ring well since 2016. The cost of one ring well is $1440.
