Kuntal is 9 years old and attends year 4 at the Airport school in Kolkata, India. His teachers say that he is friendly and enjoys reading, playing ball, and drawing. Kuntal’s favorite subject is Art.

Kuntal lives with his mother, father and brother in a brick house with a roof made of concrete. His father works at a chicken shop and his mother is a home maker. Although they work hard to support Kuntal, it is very difficult to support the family and his education on the fathers sole income.
