Rajib mondal

Rajib is 11 years old and attends year 5 at the Airport school in Kolkata, India. His teachers say that he is playful and enjoys reading, cricket, and drawing. Rajib’s favorite subject is Bengali.

Rajib lives with his mother, father and sister in a brick house with a roof made of asbestos. His father works maintenance for a small private company and his mother is a home maker. Although they work hard to support Rajib, it is very difficult to support the family and his education on the fathers sole income.
